Tripp turns one year old!

Note: This blog will be full of pictures just for Aunt Kelli, who didn't like our last blog because it had none! haha.

We had to get a picture of Tripp with his cute little twin cousins, Courtney and Shelia...this was actually their first picture together since they could all hold their heads up! haha. Looks like we just plopped Tripp down on their stroller with them, like we did!

Curt enjoyed feeding cake to our kids.

Curt and Tripp. It's hard to split these two up these days!

Happy Birthday to Tripp! He didn't really dig into his cake. He was so over it.

However, he was really into his new four-wheeler
from his Aunt Kelli, Uncle Will, William, and Carson!

He found his Aunt Kathy and enjoyed resting on her. He was so cute because he was "purring" while he was laying on her!

That's Kaye-Kaye in the back of this picture, holding our new little cousin Walter.

Look how happy Tripp is hanging out on GrandJoe's lap.
Thanks GrandJoe for saving the pavillion for us all morning!

This is the cake I made Tripp for his first birthday.
Be nice, it's my first one ever!

This was such a fun celebration of the first year of Tripp's life. He's changed so much from that little pink wrinkly newborn they held up for us too see just one year ago. We have loved seeing all his little milestones and developments and can't wait to see how much he changes in this one year old year too.

Come on, Tripp, get up on those legs and show us what you got!

We're wireless!

Happy Memorial Day friends and family!

This has been a great weekend for us. The kids have been so good and we've really enjoyed all hanging out together. And we are really proud of this.....Curt has turned our house into a wi-fi hotspot! Yes, we. are. now. wireless! I am blogging from our couch in the den right now. This is fabulous!

We bought a new little notebook that Best Buy had on sale for only $249 and I love it! It's about the size of my Bible and really faster than I thought it would be. It' so much fun to just use it all over the house. Love it!

Tripp and Mollie will start their "new school" tomorrow (I'm taking them with me to the Byram center) and so we're a little anxious about how they will adjust. Tripp will be fine, but Mollie will really miss her teachers and friends at her other school. Mollie likes to be the little teacher's helper, so it may take a little time for her to learn the ropes and make new friends. Her class is all girls, with Mollie being the oldest, and her teacher is potty-training them. That's real exciting to us! We are going to buy her some "princess" pull-ups today. Another milestone.

This should be a busy week! We'll let you know how it goes!

A Hot Mess!

Have you ever heard that saying, "He's a hot mess!"? Well, here is a hot mess for sure!

This is Memorial Day Weekend and we had lots of fun activities planned for the weekend but guess who started sporting a fever on Friday night? You got it right, Mr. Tripp!

He doesn't look very sick in this picture, does he? He had just finished his spaghetti in this shot and I had to grab the camera before I bathed him. I wanted all his friends and relatives to see how he really eats! (His daddy's not much better! haha!) I mean, did he really have to rub it in his eyebrows? You should have seen the bath water after he got in!

We sure do love our little hot mess though!

Okay, now this is what we are used to. A little girl mess. She's messy, but nothing like her little brother after his meal. They always tell you that raising little boys is much different than raising little girls. I believe them now!

He's so happy! (and so not sick!)

These are pictures of Mollie and Tripp playing in their new ball tent. Now first let me apologize to Kelli. I realize that this was your idea to possibly get for Tripp"s birthday but I found it on clearance after we talked and had to get it! Sorry I stole your idea, and it was a good one.....the kids loved it on this rainy day!

We were supposed to go to Courtney and Shelia's first birthday party today, but Tripp was running fever and we had to stay home. Bummer! We were really looking forward to seeing the girls and all the family. Happy Birthday to the twins!

Notice in this bottom picture how Mollie is looking at Tripp. That's the look she gives him when she is "teaching" him something. She raises her eyebrows and talks slower and more clearly, I guess so he'll understand her! haha.

They really play well together....it's a good thing on this rainy day!
